The Mission and Ministry Resource Center, has been serving you for 13 years and we look forward to your staying with us again for your church or youth retreat, planning, or training events. Take a virtual tour of the Center through the pictures below, then please contact us for specifics regarding your upcoming retreats or training events.  

Located in a rural section of extreme south-central Virginia, the Missions Center is close to the major urban areas of North Carolina and an easy drive from Richmond, Roanoke, or Lynchburg, Virginia.  Just 8 miles east of Danville, the area is a destination for history buffs as well as the adventurous with Virginia International Raceway only a short distnce away.

Most of all, we provide an inexpensive location for you to "come away" from the distractions of the everyday so you might draw closer to our Lord and Savior.  Encompassed about with woods on three sides, we also feature a outdoor basketball court, a volleyball court, a field for your choice of athletic activities (users will need to supply their own balls and equipment).  During the summer months, a swimming pool is available.  Groups should provide life guards as there are none on duty and the pool is used at each person's own risk

The Meeting Area - with comfortable seating for your retreat or training sessions.

Versatile Dining Space - multiple configurations to seat up to 22 persons for meals you prepare in the spacious and well equipped kitchen.

With plenty of counterspace on which to work, the kitchen is as well equipped as most homes.  There are a number of small appliances - coffee maker, microwave ovens, etc.  However, if you have need of a specialty appliance such as a waffle maker or mixer, you will need to bring it with you. 

For your ministry needs, the Center is equipped with a TV, VCR, DVD player, and an audio cassette player.  We also have a white-board and markers and a lectern for your use.

 Completed in 1996, this is not a rustic facility.  It is fully climate-controlled with full tile or carpet floor coverings.  There is a washer and a dryer if you need them.

However, this is a rural location, so there is no internet service unless you have an air card for your laptop.  The building is not wired for telephone, but virtually all cell service providers are supported in the Center.

Designed to sleep 20 in beds with a pull out sofa in the living/meeting area, the Missions Center is well suited for small to medium sized groups.

 Three bedrooms can each sleep six persons in the triple-tier bunks, for a total of 18 in the dormitory type setting. 

Each room is equipped with a vanity and a separate bath/shower.

The fourth or "master" bedroom is set up with a full-size bed and a bath with an ADA compliant bathroom.
